Data Scientist / Developer

A company is looking for a Data Scientist / Developer to support a proof-of-concept demonstration using machine learning methods.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and test statistical models and natural language processing integrations

Engage with stakeholders to identify shortcomings in the current intake process and propose improvements

Create and validate a prototype application demonstrating the impact of new technology on child outcomes and State resources

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or a related field

5+ years of experience in US Federal Government data science programs requiring TS / SCI clearance

Proven expertise in custom AI program development, including text processing and LLM application

Minimum two years of experience designing machine-learning solutions based on first principles

Strong knowledge of databases and programming languages including Python, C++, JAVA, and SQL
