Moshi is a VC-backed, AI-native startup building for the financial markets. We're a super fast-growing, in-person team in Houston, working with real-time financial markets data. Founded by an experienced institutional financial trader with a deep ML research background.

The Role

You'll join our founding team as our fifth hire, working closely with the founding team. This is a role for someone who wants to be deeply in the build: shaping models, shipping product, and working hands-on with real clients from day one.

What You'll Build

Something customers pay for that didn't exist before. You'll help build the product, the platform, and the intelligence layer that makes Moshi genuinely useful to financial professionals.

What You'll Do Build and validate statistical and ML models on real-time financial markets data Design and ship applied AI workflows for financial markets use cases Work hands-on across data engineering, data pipelines, and modelling Partner closely with clients to turn real financial markets workflows into product Help shape the AI roadmap as we scale Core Technical Requirements Hands-on ML / data science experience applied to financial markets data Data engineering with complex data pipelines for real-time data Experience working with multiple types of financial markets data Modern database systems with advanced features Event streaming and message queue systems Financial markets exposure across any asset class Nice to Have Software engineering skills Experience with modern AI frameworks High-compliance / regulated industry background Prior startup experience What We're Looking For
