Role Overview
We are looking for a Data Scientist to support advanced analytics within a healthcare portfolio, focusing on patient outcomes, real-world evidence (RWE), and data-driven decision-making. The role involves working with healthcare datasets such as claims, EHR, labs, and SDOH to generate insights and measure the impact of clinical and operational interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale healthcare datasets (medical & pharmacy claims, EHR, labs, SDOH)
- Design and execute real-world evidence (RWE) studies
- Apply statistical and quasi-experimental methods to evaluate intervention impact
- Develop predictive and analytical models to support population health strategies
- Analyze patient journeys, care patterns, and provider networks
- Identify healthcare disparities and access barriers
- Translate analyses into actionable insights for stakeholders
- Build dashboards and reporting tools
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- At least 2 years of experience working with healthcare datasets such as medical & pharmacy claims, EHR, labs, or SDOH
- 3+ years of hands-on experience applying statistics including hypothesis testing, regression modeling, and causal analysis
- Strong experience applying cohort analysis and quasi-experimental methods to evaluate intervention impact
- Strong proficiency in SQL for large-scale data analysis and Python or R for statistical modeling
- Ability to translate complex statistical analyses into actionable insights for business stakeholders
- Strong understanding of metrics, experiment frameworks, and performance measurement
Mandatory Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in causal inference & experimentation
- In-depth understanding of statistics for data science
- At least 2 years of experience working with healthcare data
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
