Data Support Analyst

We are seeking a

BI Analyst (Reporting Support)

to provide operational support for business-critical sales reporting platforms across a global environment. Based in Singapore, this role is part of a follow-the-sun support model, covering both

B2C (Consumer) and B2B (Business & Education) reporting ecosystems.

The ideal candidate has strong data analysis skills,

hands-on experience with

BI tools

, and the ability to investigate data issues and clearly communicate insights to business users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide

Tier 1 support for reporting issues, including data discrepancies, inaccuracies, and metric interpretation.

  • Oversee automated support workflows

(e.g., Slack forms, bots), handling exceptions and manual investigations.

  • Support and maintain sales reporting platforms across B2C and B2B environments.
  • Monitor and manage

Slack-based support requests

, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.

  • Investigate and reconcile ata discrepancies across reporting platforms and identify root causes.
  • Query and analyze data to validate

, troubleshoot, and explain reporting outputs

.

  • Guide business users on data definitions, KPI interpretation, and reporting logic

.

  • Escalate data pipeline issues, platform defects, and systemic problems to engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting reliability

.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in BI analysis, reporting support, or data support roles.
  • Strong experience in sales,

channel, or performance reporting and KPI analysis

.

  • Hands-on experience with

Snowflake (mandatory)

.

  • Experience with BI tools such as

Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Business Objects, or similar

.

  • Strong skills in data querying and analysis

(SQL preferred).

  • Ability to manage multiple support requests across time zones in a global setup.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain data clearly to business users.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred / Advantage

  • Experience with

Python for data analysis or automation.

  • Familiarity with

Slack-based workflows, bots, or automated support systems

.

  • Understanding of data pipelines and reporting architectures

.

  • Experience working in a global, follow-the-sun support model
