Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Data Lead to drive data strategy, analytics, and machine learning initiatives to support business growth and operational excellence. This role will lead end-to-end data solutions, from data engineering and analysis to advanced modelling and insights generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data pipelines, analytics frameworks, and ML models.
- Drive data strategy, governance, and best practices across the organization.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models (e.g., forecasting, recommendation systems, segmentation).
- Perform deep-dive data analysis to generate actionable business insights.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate data into decision-making.
- Mentor and manage a team of data analysts/scientists/engineers.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with security standards.
Requirements
- 6–10+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or related roles, with leadership experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms and model deployment.
- Expertise in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling (SQL, Tableau/Power BI).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and big data tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
