We are hiring Databricks Engineers across Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Manager levels for a leading banking client in London, focused on delivering enterprise-scale Generative AI and advanced data engineering solutions.

This is not a traditional Data Engineering role. We are looking for professionals who can build and deploy production-grade AI solutions using Databricks, combining strong engineering capability with hands-on GenAI delivery experience.

You will work on cutting-edge AI initiatives including LLM-powered applications, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, agentic workflows, vector search, and enterprise AI deployment across large-scale banking environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade Generative AI applications using Databricks
• Develop LLM-powered applications using RAG architectures
• Build agentic AI workflows using LangChain and LangGraph
• Implement vector search, embeddings, and semantic retrieval systems
• Develop scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, and PySpark
• Leverage Databricks Mosaic AI, MLflow, and Lakehouse architecture
• Optimise AI model performance, evaluation, and deployment
• Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams across major banking transformation programme

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks
• Python, SQL, and PySpark expertise
• Experience building Generative AI / LLM applications
• RAG pipeline development experience
• langChain and/or LangGraph experience
• Understanding of vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search
• Eperience with MLflow, Delta Lake, and modern data platform architecture
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Banking or Financial Services experience preferred
