Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1.) Deals/Corporate Finance Mandates Execution

– Personally support and execute private M&A mandates - acquisitions, divestments, capital raising, and debt advisory, working closely with senior team members

– Personally support and execute various Corporate Finance mandates, such as corporate restructuring analysis, feasibility studies, and business plans preparation, financial & business analysis, and others

– Prepare and review financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, comparable company, precedent transactions) hands-on, independently building and stress-testing outputs

– Draft and refine marketing materials, including teasers, information memoranda, management presentations, investment decks, and others

– Draft and refine transaction documents, such a process letters, termsheets, LOI, and others

– Coordinate and manage data rooms, due diligence workstreams, and multi-party processes, serving as the day-to-day operational point of contact

– Support commercial negotiations, deal structuring discussions, and interaction with legal counsel and counterparty advisors throughout the transaction process

– Assist with post-transaction deliverables and closing documentation as required

2.) Business Development & Market Intelligence

– Proactively identify and research potential deal opportunities, target companies, and market trends across priority sectors in the UAE and GCC

– Prepare sector-specific market analyses, deal flow trackers, and competitive landscape reviews to support origination efforts by senior leadership

– Prepare proposals for new mandates

– Represent Andersen UAE at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to build market presence and relationships

– Develop and maintain relationships with relevant market participants - corporates, family offices, private equity funds, and lenders - to support pipeline development

– Contribute to thought leadership content, sector publications, and market commentary as part of the practice’s external profile

3.) Team & Junior Staff

– The role involves a lot of independent work, junior team will support depending on the workload

– Provide day-to-day guidance, task allocation, and quality review for Associates and Consultants working on shared engagements

Qualification:

– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline

– CFA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred

– 4–7 years of relevant experience in M&A advisory, transaction services, corporate finance, or a related field

– Hands-on track record of executing private transactions in the GCC or MENA region

– Strong financial modelling and valuation skills with direct experience building models independently

– Proved experience of preparation high quality business presentations and investment related marketing materials

Skills:

– Execution-oriented with a strong ability to work independently across multiple workstreams

– Commercially curious with a genuine interest in market dynamics, deal flow, and sector trends

– Strong written and verbal communication skills; Arabic an advantage

– Comfortable engaging with clients and external stakeholders directly and professionally

– High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing deadlines under pressure

– Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial data platforms (Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Refinitiv)
