DESIGN ENGINEER - COORDINATION & TECHNICAL INTERFACE

Review, coordinate and assist in Transmission projects for all general/technical correspondences like DDCMS submissions, progress reports, baseline schedule, quality plans etc, and associated project processes like DDCMS, SSART process in the DEWA Digital platform SMART D2 system.Review and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders and prepare comment sheets for approval of Project Signal list submitted by contractors or consultants to ensure quality, compliance with DEWA's specification, standard documents, and scope of works.Coordinate all project issues and prepare the Issue management report periodically.Coordinate for the Site quality audit process and prepare feedback to the Projects department and respective commissioning departments.Participate in various technical, interface and progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders and provide feedback/resolve interface/process related issues to ensure smooth running of projects and attend site visits as required.Review and coordinate to ensure coverage of DEWA's requirements for the Independent Power Producer (IPP) Projects in RFP tender documents to avoid ambiguity in scope of work and finalize the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) document.Review and coordinate during engineering stage for interface documents approval and support Projects during commissioning stage until plant energization.Review, coordinate and update Standard documents like DDCMS, Signal list, Design drawing Checklists as required.Generate SLA KPI results related to section activities periodically as per department requirements.Perform any other tasks assigned by the reporting manager. Education Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Experience/Qualification Minimum 4 years experience in high voltage transmission for Bachelors degree holder Minimum 6 years experience in high voltage transmission for Diploma holder Good analytical skills to assess situations Proficiency in communication and technical report writing
