DevOps Engineer - Shape the devops function within a trading environment

Your infrastructure will be the engine behind live trading decisions made by some of the best analysts in the world of commodities trading.

You're joining a global commodities trading firm where world-class data analysts are already building sophisticated, high-impact models. The hard part is done. Now they need the technical foundation to take those models into production, and that's where you come in.

You'll own the CI/CD pipelines, containerised workloads, and AWS environments that keep everything running. The data lake, the data pipelines, the analytical applications - you're the one making sure they're stable, scalable, and production-ready. You'll be automating data ingestion and deploying cutting-edge analytical models directly into live trading environments where the stakes are real.

This is a pivotal role. You're sitting right at the intersection of complex analytics and scalable technology, working daily alongside brilliant analysts and engineers who are already doing exceptional work. Your infrastructure decisions will directly shape how data drives trading strategy.

The firm is established and successful, so there's no chaos here. But this part of the business is growing fast, which means you're not inheriting a rigid setup. You'll help shape the DevOps processes, implement change, and leave a genuine mark on how the technical foundation evolves.

You'll need solid hands-on experience with AWS, Python, Terraform, and EKS.

Salary is up to £100,000 with a strong bonus on top. The role is 3x days on-site in Central London.
