Secure project funding and undertake procurement for the platform. Develop and execute the platform roadmap, defining key milestones, success metrics, and resource requirements. Champion data governance standards and best practices across all platform components. Manage user access to the data analytics platform.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team including data engineers, analysts, architects, and product specialists. Foster a collaborative environment that promotes innovation, continuous learning, and high performance. Coordinate with external vendors and consultants as required for specialised technical expertise.
- Provide strategic direction on platform architecture, technology stack selection, and integration approaches. Ensure the platform meets scalability, security, and performance requirements while maintaining cost effectiveness. Oversee data pipeline development, analytics tool implementation, and user interface design.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and IT teams to understand requirements and ensure platform adoption. Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to executive stakeholders through regular reporting and presentations. Facilitate change management initiatives to support platform rollout across the organisation.
- Establish robust testing frameworks and quality assurance processes throughout the development lifecycle. Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations, security standards, and organisational policies. Implement monitoring and maintenance protocols for ongoing platform operations.

Job Requirements
- Professional Qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional certifications in relevant technologies or project management methodologies.
Experience in agile development environments and DevOps practices.
Background in data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance. Previous experience in similar industry or organisational context.
- Experience in data analytics, platform development, or related technology roles. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale technology projects from conception to implementation.
- Strong understanding of data analytics technologies, including cloud platforms, data warehousing solutions, business intelligence tools, and machine learning frameworks.
Experience with modern data architecture patterns, API development, and integration methodologies. Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and relevant analytics software.
- Demonstrated ability to be part of cross-functional teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving capabilities and experience managing project risks and dependencies.
