Work Model: Hybrid (4 days on site, 1 day work from home) .
Duration: 1 year; extension and conversion are possible based on business needs and performance.
About the role: This position was created to support existing marketing tagging requests within the Digital Technology business unit. You will join a collaborative working environment of approximately 30 members, interacting 100% of the time with internal stakeholders and external vendors. The role includes a client onboarding period followed by three weeks of shadowing. On average, you will spend 2–3 hours per day in meetings.
Responsibilities
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications for custom digital analytics implementation (utilizing data layers, processing rules, and custom JavaScript/JSON).
- Collaborating with digital marketing stakeholders to define KPIs, tagging requirements, and overall measurement strategies.
- Managing daily operations and implementation of the marketing analytics stack (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce, Adobe Target, Medallia DXA, Rakuten, Facebook).
- Developing and maintaining implementation documents such as Solution Design Reference (SDR) files and Data Layer specifications.
- Ensuring the timely delivery and accuracy of technical coding (HTML, JavaScript, ActionScript) through Tag Management Systems like Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager, or Ensighten.
- Working with technology teams to implement solutions, provide troubleshooting, and manage system integrations.
- Staying up to date with product updates for major platforms and proactively communicating required changes.
- Providing consultative services and validation support to quality assurance and testing teams.
Must Have Responsibilities:
- Accurate delivery of technical coding through Tag Management Systems.
- Successful translation of business requirements into technical specs.
- Management of the daily operations of the marketing analytics stack.
Experience
- 2+ years of overall relevant experience.
- Previous experience in the banking industry is preferred.
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously with strong time-management skills.
Skillsets
- JavaScript: Minimum 2+ years of experience.
- Web Analytics Implementation: Minimum 2+ years of experience.
- Analytics Tagging: Proven experience with Google Analytics, marketing tagging, and Adobe Analytics.
- Tag Management Tools: Expertise with DTM, Adobe Launch, Tealium, or Ensighten is a strong asset.
- Adobe Analytics: Understanding of processing rules, SAINT classifications, and report suite configurations is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written/verbal communication and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
Education
- Computer Science degree is considered an asset.
- Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics certifications are considered an asset.
