Digital Asset and Banking Strategy Analyst

The Enterprise IT Strategy team collaborates with leaders in product, IT, and operations to develop and implement the cloud and infrastructure strategy of our organization, ensuring it aligns with business objectives. We analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and the dynamics of the financial sector to pinpoint opportunities and risks, transforming insights into actionable strategies. Additionally, we design and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient AWS environments while fostering innovation in critical areas like multi-region architecture, disaster recovery, and infrastructure automation.

As a Digital Asset & Banking Strategy Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our digital banking capabilities and pioneering efforts with emerging digital assets. This position is hands-on, ideal for individuals who thrive in ambiguous situations, can dissect complex problems, and are skilled at executing detailed plans to propel strategic initiatives. You will manage various projects assigned by IT leadership.

This is a hybrid role (Monday to Thursday on-site / Friday remote) open to candidates based in the Kansas City metropolitan area, as well as qualified remote candidates within the US. The address for on-site work is 1010 Grand Blvd, Kansas City, MO.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Support the advancement and execution of strategy related to digital assets and emerging technologies.

• Evaluate and develop potential blockchain use cases by examining business value, operational factors, and implementation challenges.

• Contribute to internal innovation and experimentation initiatives.

• Track market, competitive, and regulatory developments to shape strategic direction.

• Help define user journeys, feature requirements, and platform functionalities.

• Assist in constructing business cases and support financial modeling for new initiatives.

• Collaborate with technology, product, and operations teams to improve client experience.

• Identify opportunities to unify experiences across different segments where applicable.

• Define and collect necessary data to generate insights on business needs and opportunities.

We're Excited About You If You Have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics, or equivalent work experience.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in banking, fintech, crypto/blockchain, or consulting.

• A strong grasp of digital asset fundamentals.

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with technology and business teams.

• Basic knowledge of banking products and services.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex topics and influencing stakeholders.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with treasury management, payments (ACH, wires), custody (HSM/MPC), or commercial banking platforms.

• Familiarity with digital asset use cases such as stablecoins, tokenized assets, or crypto trading flows.

• Experience in agile or hybrid delivery environments.

Compensation Range: $57,760.00 - $124,170.00
