Position Overview
We’re looking for a seasoned analytics leader to drive data-informed decisions for the Business Experiences organization. The Business Experiences Analytics Data Science team leverages advanced analytics, machine learning, and data visualization techniques to deliver actionable insights that drive business growth. In this role, you will provide leadership across people, product, and analytics functions by partnering with cross-functional teams to shape strategies, set goals, and maximize campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform, influence, support, and execute product strategy and investment decisions.
- Inspire, lead, and grow a distributed team of data scientists and data science leaders across North America.
- Apply expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and data presentation to develop data-informed strategies for enhancing product offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in a quantitative discipline (e.g., AI, statistics, operations research, econometrics, computer science, engineering) with 10+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 8+ years.
- 10+ years of work experience managing analytics teams and collaborating with Product and Infrastructure teams to guide data-influenced business planning and strategy development.
- Proven experience in hiring, retaining, and scaling geographically dispersed, high-performing teams with diverse backgrounds and approaches.
- Intellectual curiosity, drive, and decisiveness in ambiguous and complex environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional groups.
- Strong communication skills with experience in presenting data-driven insights and recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with both product and business analytics, demonstrating the ability to deliver an integrated analytical approach.
Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: $253,000/year to $314,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
