Job Description

About Us

At Prenuvo, we are on a mission to flip the paradigm from reactive "sick-care" to proactive health care. Our award-winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionizing radiation), and non-invasive (no contrast). Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience across our domestic and global clinics, have allowed us to lead the change against "we caught it too late again".

We are looking for a Director of Data and Analytics to join our team! You will lead data and analytics at Prenvuo, building this function from where we stand today (a lean and focused team serving core needs across the organization) into a core strategic capability supporting the business across commercial growth, business processes, clinical operations, and R&D.

Help reshape the world through proactive healthcare while working with cutting-edge technology and high performing teams with deep expertise - join us to make a difference in people's lives!

What You'll Do

  • Team Leadership & Growth: Build, mentor, and oversee a high-performing team of data professionals, including data engineers, analytics engineers, data analysts, and data scientists.
  • Strategic Execution (Player-Coach): Act as both a visionary leader and an active practitioner; while you build the team, you will be expected to roll up your sleeves to architect initial data models, write production-quality code, and establish the technical standards that the team will follow.
  • Strategic Data Roadmap: Serve as the primary owner for the global data strategy, reporting infrastructure, and the evolution of our analytics stack (e.g., Fivetran, dbt, Sigma, Databricks)
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with stakeholders with diverse needs - from AI and Clinical Research teams requiring structured, well-documented datasets to Growth Marketing teams requiring rapid iteration - to serve business needs for data and analytics
  • Governance & Trust: Implement robust data governance, validation, and monitoring frameworks to ensure that financial, clinical, and operational data is trusted and reliable across all teams
  • Data Integrity & Privacy Frameworks: Serve as the custodian of data privacy and quality. You will implement the standards for data masking, anonymization for research, and robust documentation that ensures our clinical data is as trustworthy as the scans we provide.
  • Technical Collaboration: Partner closely with the technical engineering organization in owning and implementing analytics infrastructure that supports long-term scalability and reliability.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data science, with a proven track record of leading teams and building data functions from the ground up.
  • Technical Leadership: Deep expertise in SQL, data modeling, and modern analytics tools (e.g., Fivetran, dbt, Databricks, Sigma).
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to translate between highly technical teams and business-focused teams to deliver actionable insights.
  • Healthcare Governance Mindset: Deep understanding of data governance within a regulated environment. You have a proven track record of designing data access controls, audit trails, and privacy-first architectures that protect sensitive data (e.g., PHI, Protected Health Information) while still enabling business utility.
  • AI-Driven Operational Excellence: A forward-thinking approach to leveraging AI and LLMs to accelerate data workflows - from automated SQL generation to intelligent data cataloging. However, this is balanced by prudent judgment: you understand where AI adds exponential value and where business context, clinical nuance, and human oversight are non-negotiable for accuracy and safety.
  • Strategic Business Partnering: A proven ability to connect data strategy to broader company objectives. You don't just "provide data"; you proactively identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes, optimize clinic operations, and accelerate R&D. You have a "product-manager" mindset for data, ensuring that every dataset or tool built serves a specific, high-value business purpose.
  • Bias for Action: Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a "pioneer" mindset, maintaining momentum through disciplined experimentation.

Our Values

First: we are Pioneers

  • Transforming healthcare requires divergent thinking, bias for action, disciplined experimentation, and consistent grit and determination to maintain momentum. This journey is as challenging as it is rewarding.

Second: we are Platform-Builders

  • We're always building foundations that allow us to achieve tomorrow more than we did today. We never lose sight of what's ahead – in a mindset of ownership and duty to our mission.

Above all: we are Patients

  • We could all be the next person who walks through our very doors, seeking clarity or peace of mind. We are proud of our impact on our
