Headquartered in Toronto, the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) is responsible for investing in new infrastructure projects. The CIB’s mission is to work with provincial, territorial, municipal, federal, Indigenous and private sector investor partners to transform the way infrastructure is planned, financed and delivered in Canada.
Reporting to the Head, Investment Risk and Fiscal Impact, the Director, Investment Risk, will focus on infrastructure and corporate/hybrid project finance investment risk assessment, including revenue risk, availability-based infrastructure financing models and corporate-style financing supporting discrete infrastructure projects. The Director, Investment Risk, is responsible for reviewing transaction documentation and financial models, ensuring robust risk assessments across infrastructure and corporate/hybrid project finance.
The Director, Investment Risk, requires a strategic mindset and the ability to influence investment decisions at every stage, from intake to financial close and ongoing monitoring. Your oversight will help to shape and evaluate the risk profile of major infrastructure investments, while your cross-functional collaboration will ensure alignment across the organization. By staying ahead of industry trends and communicating complex risk insights with clarity, you will serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader.
