Director of Decision Science

Lead the charge in credit risk modeling with BMO as the Director of Decision Science in Canada. Oversee a talented team and optimize performance across the customer lifecycle in a hybrid work model.

As the Director of Decision Science, you will guide a team of over 10 decision scientists in developing and deploying innovative credit risk models. Your expertise in advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI will be pivotal in driving business outcomes. Ensure compliance while enhancing model performance through rigorous monitoring and a partnership approach with Technology and Product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and develop a high-performing decision science team

• Own the end-to-end development of financial models

• Drive best-in-class modeling practices for credit risk

• Collaborate for seamless model deployment and governance

• Monitor and enhance model performance and stability

Requirements:

• MS or PhD in a related field required

• 7+ years of credit risk modeling experience

• Proven experience with adjudication and account management models

• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or SAS

• Strong people leadership skills needed
