We are seeking a high-impact Director of Finance to partner with our Commercial and Go-To-Market (GTM) organization. This leader will own the financial strategy and performance management behind efficient growth, spanning new logo acquisition, customer retention and expansion, and innovation-led revenue streams.
This is not a traditional finance role. You will operate as a strategic partner to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Revenue Operations, and Client Success leadership, helping shape decisions, challenge assumptions, and drive accountability across the revenue engine.
You will lead revenue modeling, forecasting, and business performance reviews while building scalable processes. This role will leverage AI to modernize how Finance supports growth in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment.
What You'll Do
Strategic Ownership & Constructive Challenge
- Proactively shape GTM strategy, not just support it, by identifying where to invest, where to pull back, and how to maximize return on growth spend
- Actively partner with Sales, Marketing, and Client Success leadership to drive optimal outcomes, using data to influence decisions on trade-offs, resource allocation, and performance expectations
- Bring a strong, independent point of view on growth strategy, balancing ambition with financial discipline
Strategic Partnership & Growth Leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor to GTM leadership, influencing decisions across pricing, segmentation, channel strategy, and investment allocation
- Translate company growth objectives into actionable financial strategies that drive efficient and predictable revenue outcomes
- Provide data-driven insights to optimize CAC, LTV, and overall unit economics
Revenue Modeling & Forecasting
- Own end-to-end revenue forecasting, including pipeline analysis, conversion assumptions, retention dynamics, and expansion drivers
- Build and continuously refine scalable revenue models that support short-term execution and long-range planning
- Partner with Revenue Operations to ensure alignment between pipeline data, forecasts, and financial plans
Performance Management & Business Reviews
- Lead GTM business reviews, delivering clear insights on performance vs. plan, key drivers, and risks/opportunities
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks that create transparency and accountability across Sales, Marketing, and Client Success
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve productivity, efficiency, and growth quality
Drive Efficient Processes and Scale
- Champion the use of AI and advanced analytics to enhance forecasting accuracy, scenario planning, and decision-making
- Build foundational processes, models, and operating rhythms from the ground up where needed, with a focus on speed, clarity, and impact
- Drive standardization across forecasting, reporting, and planning workflows
- Identify and eliminate manual inefficiencies through automation and system improvements
Team Leadership
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team aligned to GTM priorities
- Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement
- Elevate the role of Finance as a proactive, value-creating partner to the business
What You'll Need
- 10-12+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant exposure to commercial finance, FP&A, and GTM support
- Proven experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, and/or Customer Success organizations in a high-growth environment
- Strong expertise in revenue modeling, forecasting, and SaaS or recurring revenue dynamics (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, private equity-backed or similarly performance-driven environment
- Track record of building scalable processes and driving operational excellence
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- High proficiency with data, financial systems, and analytics tools; experience leveraging AI/automation is a strong plus
