POSITION OVERVIEW
This role is critical in bridging project development execution with broader corporate strategy, ensuring alignment between corporate investment guideline, day-to-day execution, and overall company objectives.
The ideal candidate will act as a key interface across development team, development support teams and executives/decision makers, effective coordination between project execution and corporate investment decision-making processes. Accordingly, The ideal candidate should have a capability to build and review the project economics model and communicate with internal stakeholders, and a financial acumen to support the investment decision.
In parallel, the role will support co-management responsibilities within a 50:50 joint venture structure with a major utility-scale renewable energy partner with the governance oversight. The candidate will facilitate alignment across the JV Board and cross-functional stakeholders, including finance, technical, development, and legal teams, to enable timely and effective decision-making and project execution.
This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including development, project finance, engineering, project control, PMO, M&A and Legal to ensure seamless project execution and regulatory compliance.
In addition, the candidate will regularly monitor and report on the status and progress of ongoing projects, providing structured updates to Head of Project Team, CPO (Chief Portfolio Officer) and CEO (Chief Executive Officer), ensuring full visibility on timelines, milestones, and key risks.
The role also includes reviewing and analyzing project budgets versus actual expenditures, identifying variances, and forecasting future financial requirements to support proactive planning and resource allocation. The candidate will prepare comprehensive management reports detailing project progress, budget performance, key risks, and potential opportunities.
Furthermore, the candidate will conduct in-depth market research and analysis to keep the company informed of relevant market trends, supply chain developments (including key component industries), and regulatory changes that may impact both ongoing and future projects.The employee may be required to perform other job-related duties as requested by management.
