Position Overview
The Director of Workforce Analytics will lead Atrium's effort to centralize analytics and reporting under one team, running two parallel tracks from day one: delivering structured reporting for Atrium clients while simultaneously building a reliable internal analytics foundation-ensuring data is leveraged as a strategic asset to drive business intelligence, operational excellence, and client value. This leader will work closely with client-facing teams, Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations to deliver repeatable client reporting, deploy self-service analytics, predictive modeling, and Data-as-a-Service solutions, and establish governance and accountability across both client and internal reporting-making analytics scalable, trusted, and repeatable across the organization. Over time, client coverage will expand, internal self-service tools will go live, and the two tracks will converge into a single, unified analytics capability serving the full organization.
Responsibilities Of The Director Of Workforce Analytics
- Build and lead Atrium's client reporting program, launching with a focused scope of top client accounts and expanding as the team and infrastructure mature.
- Work directly with client account teams to translate data into actionable insights that improve program ROI.
- Partner with client-facing teams to deliver market insights, benchmarking, and opportunity analysis that strengthen relationships and renewals.
- Conduct program analysis to uncover optimization opportunities, interpret key trends, and present findings during ABRs, QBRs, and ad hoc executive meetings.
- Develop and deploy analytics that enhance account health, program optimization, and demand management, ensuring insights lead to measurable outcomes.
- Establish a Data-as-a-Service business model and identify opportunities to monetize insights and reporting.
- Support Sales and pre-RFP efforts by creating compelling analytics and narratives that differentiate Atrium and improve win rates.
- Translate complex data into clear, executive-ready stories, owning the narrative from analysis through delivery.
- Develop and execute a data strategy aligned with client delivery models and growth goals.
- Establish and enforce governance standards to ensure accuracy, privacy, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Define and maintain consistent metrics and definitions so reporting is trusted and scalable.
- Implement data risk management practices, including access controls, retention policies, and audits, in partnership with Security and Legal teams.
- Partner with Technology, Product, and Operations teams to ensure reliable data delivery across systems such as VMS, FMS, CRM, ERP, and HRIS.
- Oversee and contribute to data engineering standards and promote repeatable data-product patterns, including reliability, access controls, and quality checks.
- Evaluate and deploy advanced data platforms and tools supporting automation, AI, and visualization, such as Power BI, Tableau, and Snowflake.
- Drive continuous improvement in data quality, accessibility, and system integration.
- Run the internal analytics build as a concurrent track by conducting a full inventory of existing reports, clarifying metric definitions, simplifying recurring reports, and reducing manual work.
- Partner with Shared Services, Operations, Finance, HR, and Compliance to provide data-driven insights and implement self-service analytics.
- Deliver process intelligence through dashboards tracking cycle time, backlog, touchpoints, rework, and SLA performance.
- Build and lead a high-performing analytics team, providing coaching and development to enhance technical, analytical, and consultative capabilities.
- Set clear expectations, foster accountability, and create a culture of continuous improvement, curiosity, and operational excellence.
- Model a builder mindset by working alongside the team while shaping a scalable analytics structure that grows with Atrium's needs.
Required Experience/Skills for the Director of Workforce Analytics:
- 5+ years of experience in analytics or data leadership within staffing, workforce solutions, HR technology, consulting, or a comparable services environment.
- Demonstrated experience building client-facing analytics and reporting and translating insights into business value, including retention, expansion, and revenue growth.
- Strong ability to partner across Sales, Marketing, and client teams to create repeatable, product-like analytics offerings.
- Working knowledge of governance, privacy, and compliance considerations, as well as data quality expectations for client deliverables.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field is required.
- An advanced degree is preferred.
