Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Lustre Leader for our new internal Lustre team.Play an instrumental role in driving software and hardware product to market while leading and managing a complex set of Lean-Agile transformation initiatives that are critical for successful transformation of the Organization.

Job Requirements

15 plus years of Lustre development leadership experience

Recognized expertise within the Lustre community

Proven track record in building and leading technical teams

Ability to recruit Lustre developers and other technical resources from the Lustre community

Experience in commercializing file products from inception to completion

This role is not suited for a researcher.

The candidate should be able to present technical concepts and industry updates to our senior leadership.

Collaborate with our Product Marketing team to define and prioritize feature and solution requirements.

Responsible for defining engineering program goals, spanning the planning, execution and monitoring of such goals.

Lead in a high-powered team delivering an industry changing product within an extremely high growth sector of the tech industry.

Ensure the team delivers the end-to-end solution to the customer in working closely with the Product Management to validate that the Monitoring and Management solutions being deployed actually solve the right problem and in an intuitive manner for the end customer

Build schedules and drive engineering programs in collaboration with business partners; on schedule and quality.

Assess development program risks and communicate changes to appropriate stakeholders.

Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed on time, cost, and quality parameters.

Recommend strategies & lead transformational projects to drive efficiency & implementation.

Coach functional teams on new ways of doing business and influence them for a sustainable shift in behaviors and mindsets.

Education

IC - Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience.Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience.

Compensation:

The target salary range for this position is 241,400 - 358,600 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings’ (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s). These offerings are subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. We will provide detailed information about the specific benefits for your region during the recruitment process.
