Job Description
This project supports an ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) Field Operational Test involving 4 Serena test vehicles. The scope includes vehicle setup, structured route-based driving, and controlled data collection across selected tier-1 cities in GCC and the Philippines.
Drivers and Co-Drivers will support structured data collection activities under highway (70%) and city road (30%) conditions following defined test protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Driver
- Operate ADAS-grade Serena test vehicles safely in compliance with local traffic regulations.
- Execute structured test routes (70% highway / 30% city).
- Follow predefined driving instructions and test scenarios.
- Support vehicle setup, calibration runs, and system validation during the initial project phase.
- Accurately log driving activities and report anomalies.
- Coordinate with Co-Driver/Tester during data collection runs.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and confidentiality protocols.
Co-Driver
- Support data recording and monitoring of ADAS systems during driving sessions.
- Operate test equipment, logging tools, and data collection systems.
- Monitor route adherence and ensure compliance with test scripts.
- Document system behaviors, environmental conditions, and exceptions.
- Assist in daily reporting and issue tracking.
- Support vehicle setup, trial runs, and validation processes.
- Coordinate shift handovers to ensure continuity of data integrity.
Resource Requirements
- Valid local driving license (country of deployment).
- Minimum 3+ years driving experience
- Minimum 5,000+ km cumulative driving experience (recommended).
- Clean driving record for at least 3 years (no major accidents or violations – recommended).
- Comfortable driving 6 hours per shift.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong road safety awareness.
- Familiarity with highway and urban driving in tier-1 cities.
- Basic technical aptitude (ADAS familiarity is a plus).
- Ability to follow structured test scripts precisely.
- Basic reporting and documentation skills.
