Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Special Risks, they will be responsible for daily tracking, communicating with, and assisting Aon's international travelers. They will also be expected to contribute towards the intelligence program by identifying and analyzing emergent security threats and over the horizon geopolitics risks, as well as monitoring crises and providing support to corporate event security. As a part of a cross-functional team, they will engage with stakeholders in a variety of other business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tracks, locates, and communicates with Aon colleagues who are expatriates, international assignees, or travelers - often in high-risk destinations.
  • Provides timely and relevant heath and travel security risk information to Aon travelers and expatriates.
  • Coordinates and documents global travel incidents, such as, supporting victims of crime, facilitating medical assistance, or providing guidance when travel is profoundly disrupted.
  • Generates reports on trends in colleague travel derived from Aon's travel risk management platform.
  • Assists in the establishment of methodologies to solve analytical problems when raw unfinished data contains information gaps and requires validation.
  • Conducts quality assurance analysis and frequent health checks of travel data entering the travel risk management platform.
  • Collects relevant information through public sources, social media, and traditional media outlets to maintain a focused understanding of potential business operations disruptions and physical security risks.
  • Processes collected information to confirm its veracity, authenticity, and accuracy.
  • Places collected information within its broader context to provide analysis to identify trends in relevant security threats, assessing their potential impact, and forecasting their possible evolution.
  • Writes for a variety of audiences to deliver concise and actionable insights.

Qualifications:

Seniors graduating between Spring 2025 - Spring 2026 with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Economics, International Affairs, etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email, and virtual platforms.
  • Ability to be a productive member of a geographically dispersed team operating in a primarily virtual environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during fast paced situations or when working in challenging circumstances.
  • Self-motivated with the ability and maturity to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions as well as maintain focus in a virtual working environment.
  • Strong knowledge of geography and interest in current affairs
  • Fluency in English required; preference for other language capabilities.
