Electrical Engineering Expert (AI Training) About The Role
We're looking for experienced electrical engineers to help train and improve cutting-edge AI models. Your technical expertise will directly shape how AI reasons through complex engineering problems — from circuit analysis to power systems to signal processing.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role that lets you apply your deep domain knowledge in a new and impactful way, without leaving your current career behind.
Type: Hourly Contract
Location: Remote
Design Challenging Problems — Create advanced electrical engineering scenarios across domains like circuit analysis, power systems, electromagnetics, signal processing, and control systems to stress-test AI reasoning
Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning and evaluation
Audit Technical Accuracy — Review AI-generated outputs including code, circuit diagrams, and mathematical proofs for correctness, safety, and compliance with engineering standards (e.g., Sharpen AI Reasoning — Identify logical gaps and errors in AI-generated engineering reasoning, then provide structured feedback to improve model performance
Holds a Master's degree (in progress or completed) or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field
Strong foundational expertise in one or more core areas such as VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, or embedded systems
Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and precisely in written form
High attention to detail when reviewing mathematical equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation
No prior AI experience required
Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation workflows
Familiarity with simulation tools or engineering software (e.g., Background in academic research or technical writing
Work on genuinely cutting-edge AI projects in collaboration with world-leading research labs
Fully remote and flexible — structure your work around your life, not the other way around
Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration
Make a real impact on how AI understands and applies electrical engineering knowledge
Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
