Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical and control systems in a manufacturing environment. These systems support safety, quality, efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of our operations.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Develop and implement electrical systems and instrumentation for monitoring and controlling industrial processes.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Project Planning and Execution: Plan, schedule, and execute projects related to electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, operations staff, project managers, and maintenance teams to integrate systems seamlessly into manufacturing operations.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all systems meet health, safety, and regulatory requirements. Conduct and participate in safety assessments of electrical and control equipment.
- Training and Support: Train operations, maintenance, and engineering personnel on new processes and equipment, and provide ongoing technical guidance and support.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an E&I engineer in a manufacturing environment or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, including manufacturing and quality control.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, control systems, and instrumentation design.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Project management experience, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing processes.
