Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are searching for a Quality Engineer - Electrical Components & Wiring Harness to serve as a crucial link between our suppliers and internal quality and engineering teams. This role is vital for upholding the highest standards of quality and performance across our supply base.

In this dynamic, cross-functional environment, you will collaborate closely with our Supplier Quality, Engineering, Incoming Quality Control (IQC), and suppliers to enhance product quality, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary interface for supplier quality coordination.
  • Manage quality issues and conduct root cause analyses.
  • Provide onsite support and validate processes.
  • Oversee New Product Introductions (NPI) and manage changes effectively.
  • Maintain quality documentation and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Quality Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D, Six Sigma.
  • Knowledge of FMEA (PFMEA), Control Plans, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
  • Experience with electrical components, wiring harnesses, PCB/PCBA, or electromechanical assemblies.
  • Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949.
  • Experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) and change management.

Ideal Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Adept at working in a cross-functional and supplier-facing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership.
