Accountabilities: How You Will Make an Impact
- Understanding and ability to apply electrical, controls, and instrumentation (EC&I) engineering expertise to design and build equipment particularly machine / robotic equipment systems including first-of-a-kind (FOAK)
- Provide a high level of technical expertise in one or more specific areas; including, controls software, control instrumentation, and assessment/design/specification of equipment and components
- Able to perform the role of Technical Team Lead or Subject Matter Expert to develop conceptual designs and turn them into detailed design packages following a structured design process
- Prepare design packages which may include but not limited to, fabrication drawings, P&ID, design calculations (AC/DC power supply sizing, UPS sizing, etc ), general arrangement diagrams, technical specifications (power supplies, UPS’, PLCs, HMI computers, servo drives, motors, valves, pumps, instrumentation, cabling), Bill of Materials, FMEA etc.
- Working knowledge of drafting software (i.e EPlan, AutoCAD electrical, etc.) is considered essential
- Lead interface with construction/procurement partners and utility stakeholders, throughout the lifecycle of the design project (i.e., from conceptual engineering to detailed design, implementation, and close-out) to provide practical and effective solutions as per requirements. Working with equipment suppliers can include activities such
