Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement electrical control systems for industrial applications
  • Program and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
  • Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams
  • Perform system testing, commissioning, and startup support
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and technicians
  • Diagnose and resolve control system issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and codes
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and system optimization
  • Provide technical documentation, reports, and training when required

Must-Have Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical controls or automation engineering
  • Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA systems
  • Ability to read and develop electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.)
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards (NEC, UL, etc.)

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with robotics and motion control systems
  • Knowledge of VFDs, servo drives, and instrumentation
  • Exposure to industrial networking and IIoT systems
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or process industries
  • Project management or client-facing experience
