We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Controls (E&C) Engineer to support the design, development, installation, and commissioning of electrical and control systems for industrial manufacturing operations. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain electrical and controls systems for manufacturing and process equipment
  • Develop and modify PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs to meet operational and safety requirements
  • Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control system issues to minimize downtime
  • Support capital projects, including system upgrades, automation improvements, and new equipment installations
  • Create and maintain electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and system commissioning
  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to improve system reliability and performance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to automation, controls, and electrical systems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field
  • 3–7 years of experience in electrical and controls engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems
  • Working knowledge of electrical schematics, control panels, and industrial instrumentation
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and automation systems
  • Familiarity with NFPA, NEC, and industrial safety standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in team settings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with platforms such as Allen‑Bradley or Siemens PLCs
  • Experience with VFDs, servo systems, and motion controls
  • Exposure to SCADA systems and industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, etc.)
  • Project engineering or project management experience
  • Experience supporting FDA‑regulated or highly automated environments
