Job Description

  • Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues on existing automated machinery
  • Support field service technicians and customer-facing teams with technical expertise
  • Design and execute electrical retrofits and controls upgrades
  • Modify and support PLC, HMI, and servo-based control systems
  • Create and update electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
  • Travel to customer sites for diagnostics, installations, and system improvements
  • Partner with engineering and manufacturing to resolve recurring issues
  • Domestic travel up to approximately 15%

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of experience with industrial electrical controls or automation
  • Strong PLC and HMI troubleshooting skills (Rockwell/Allen-Bradley preferred)
  • Experience with control panel schematics and AutoCAD Electrical
  • Comfortable working directly with customers and cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to travel within North America
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Aftermarket or retrofit project experience
  • Familiarity with UL, NEMA, and CE standards
  • Experience with servo systems and industrial networks
