The energy industry continues to evolve, with ongoing investment across power generation, transmission, distribution, and industrial energy infrastructure. Jacobs is expanding its Energy & Power Solutions team to support a broad portfolio of projects serving utility, industrial, and infrastructure clients across North America and internationally. As part of this growth, we are expanding our production staff to support the delivery of high‑quality engineering design and construction documentation. By joining our team, you’ll apply your technical expertise to develop electrical design models and construction drawings for complex energy projects that support reliable, efficient, and modern power systems. We have an immediate opening for a Senior Electrical Design Professional with strong experience coordinating BIM models in Revit and CAD environments. This role may also include oversight and coordination of multi‑discipline design teams to deliver accurate, constructible three‑dimensional models and drawing packages. You will work closely with electrical engineers, designers, and project teams to support a diverse group of multi‑sector clients. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys technical ownership, collaboration, and delivering practical solutions on real‑world projects. This position can be located at any of our Jacobs office locations Nationwide

  • Advanced proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
  • Proven experience producing complex BIM models and construction drawings in an engineering or consulting environment
  • Strong understanding of electrical equipment, systems, and layouts
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multi‑disciplinary teams
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proven work ethic and ability to meet project schedules and requirements
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills
