About the Role
You'll join a lean engineering team designing control systems that power the renewable energy transition. From day one, you won't shadow—you'll design circuits, run tests, and solve real problems alongside engineers who've shipped products in this space. This is where your EE training becomes impact.
What You'll Do
- Design and troubleshoot electrical systems that manage how renewable energy flows through generation and storage infrastructure
- Create schematics, run simulations, and validate designs through lab testing
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers to integrate your work into complete systems
- Own the testing phase: write test plans, collect and analyze data, diagnose failures, and drive root cause resolution
- Document designs clearly so the team can iterate and scale your work
Technical Requirements
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent technical background with demonstrated depth)
- 2+ years hands-on experience with circuits and lab work (internships and co-ops count fully)
- Proficiency reading schematics and designing with circuit simulation tools
- Hands-on experience with Altium, MATLAB, or equivalent design tools
- Working knowledge of C/C++, Python, or MATLAB for embedded or control applications
- Comfort with hands-on debugging and strong problem-solving instincts
What Sets You Apart
- You genuinely enjoy the diagnostic work: tracing signals, isolating variables, figuring out what broke and why
- You ask sharp questions and follow through until you have answers
- You write documentation that actually helps others—clear, complete, not a afterthought
- You're energized by working on technology that's reshaping how energy is produced and stored
Why This Matters
- Work directly on systems powering the renewable energy transition
- Learn from engineers with 10+ years shipping products in the space
- Grow technically in an environment that prioritizes design rigor and excellence
- Competitive compensation and benefits in one of the fastest-growing energy sectors
