Electrical Engineer (Singapore)
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of customized automation equipment. This role involves end-to-end electrical system design, integration, and on-site commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop overall electrical control systems for automation equipment
- Select and specify electrical components, including motors, sensors, and control devices
- Develop, program, and debug PLC systems and HMI interfaces
- Design electrical schematics and control panel layouts
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems
- Support system installation, commissioning, and on-site debugging
- Prepare technical documentation, including drawings and system specifications
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors on technical requirements and solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in automation or equipment-related industries
- Solid experience in PLC programming and industrial control systems
- Strong understanding of servo systems, stepper motors, and motion control
- Familiar with electrical component selection and system integration
- Proficient in electrical design tools
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel internationally when required
