As an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group, you'll play a key role in the successful engineering, design, and construction of data center facilities that are vital for our clients. In this position, you will design and oversee projects involving power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications in complex industrial settings. You will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to the design process and performing quality reviews of design packages.
  • Collaborating directly with clients, owners, and contractors to facilitate successful construction.
  • Working closely with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.
  • Managing aspects of quality, scope, budget, and schedule throughout projects.
  • Retrofitting existing systems to meet evolving client needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3 or more years of experience in the design of medium and low voltage distribution systems and campus-style power distribution
  • Extensive knowledge of industrial facility design
  • Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
  • Solid understanding of NFPA 70 (NEC)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • At least 3 years of experience specifically in data center facility design
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Enthusiasm for learning best practices and contributing innovative ideas
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Passion for construction and building design
  • Experience in designing large projects on greenfield sites
