Electrical Engineer (Facilities – Power Systems)

Responsibilities:

Manage maintenance and repair of building utilities and electrical systems, including power supply, boilers, air compressors, deodorization systems, water supply and drainage, and sewage treatment systems, as well as spare parts procurement.

Oversee building systems such as fire services and lifts; coordinate with contractors and support inspections, testing, and annual examinations.

Plan and review power supply solutions for production and specialized equipment; provide technical approvals and on-site supervision.

Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs); lead and supervise electricians to ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and EMSD regulations.

Respond to emergency situations and return to site when required.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or Building Services Engineering.

Holder of Hong Kong Registered Electrical Worker License Grade B or above (EMSD).

Solid knowledge of building power supply systems (including drawings), utility control systems, and basic PLC knowledge.

Minimum 5 years of experience in power systems and utilities maintenance is preferred.

At least 2 years of site supervision or technical management experience is an advantage.

Ability to independently manage project arrangements, contractor coordination, and inspection documentation.

Responsible, compliant with safety standards, and willing to handle emergency repairs.
