Role

This is a full-time on-site role based in Framingham, MA, for an Electrical Engineer. The employee’s function will involve professional travel, primarily to customers in the US (and there primarily on the Eastern part of the United States), but from time to time also to countries overseas. Expectations would include the following:

  • Perform application engineering by conducting test runs in the laboratory and generating technical application documentation.
  • Provide technical support to Levitronix customers via phone and email and also with on-site visits. This includes support on the hydraulic, electrical and electronic interfacing, sensor interfacing and (mainly remote) troubleshooting of technical problems of the Levitronix products in the field.
  • Generate and test proposals/solutions in cooperation with the account managers for our customer's applications.
  • The willingness to learn and to work in a fast moving, innovative environment with a demanding customer base is a must.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) with electrical experience
  • Proficiency in delivering Technical Support, including troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Competency in Testing with an attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and practices

Beneficial:

  • Experience in Mechanical Engineering, including design
  • Good understanding of process equipment, fluid dynamics, or related systems in the Semiconductor industry
