Electrical Engineer - Healthcare & Life Science

A growing consultancy is expanding its Los Angeles team, with a strong pipeline of work across healthcare, life sciences, education, and complex institutional projects. They are looking to appoint a licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) to support the delivery of technically demanding projects, while taking on increased ownership within a collaborative, design-focused environment. This is an opportunity to work closely with senior engineers and leadership, contributing directly to project delivery and gaining visibility within a team that is actively scaling. The role: Deliver electrical design from concept through construction Design and coordinate power distribution, lighting, and building systems Produce and review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation Collaborate with architects and multidisciplinary teams Support construction-phase activities including RFIs and site coordination What they're looking for: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), or ability to obtain in California 5+ years' experience within MEP / building systems consulting Healthcare project experience, ideally including HCAI/OSHPD Strong working knowledge of Revit and electrical systems design Familiar with NEC, Title 24, and California codes Why consider this: Strong pipeline of healthcare and life sciences projects Opportunity to take ownership within a growing LA team Direct exposure to senior leadership and decision-making Clear opportunity for progression as the team continues to expand Flexible hybrid working arrangement Relocation support provided
