Job Description
Lead the interconnection process for large electrical loads with utility companies.
Design and engineer switchyards, substations, and associated infrastructure at high voltages.
Develop and implement system protection strategies to safeguard equipment.
Perform load modeling and simulation using specialized tools.
Conduct power system studies including short-circuit analysis and transient stability evaluations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to integrate designs.
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering focused on high-voltage power systems.
Proven expertise in interconnecting large loads with electrical utilities.
Extensive experience designing switchyards and substations at high voltages.
Strong knowledge of system protection principles.
Proficiency in load modeling and power system simulation software.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
