In this position, you will work on a variety of projects that provide innovative solutions to our clients' challenges both locally and globally. Your skills will contribute to integrated building services design, enhancing the overall project delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects effectively while designing and performing calculations for lighting systems and controls.
  • Prepare comprehensive load analyses at different design stages.
  • Oversee the creation of detailed design drawings.
  • Compile basis of design reports and document energy compliance calculations.
  • Design grounding and lightning protection systems and redundant electrical systems.
  • Address hazardous area concerns and select appropriate equipment and fixtures.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects across various disciplines.
  • Facilitate construction administration to ensure successful project outcomes.

This role may involve occasional travel to client sites to better understand their needs as part of a larger design team. We emphasize mentorship and professional growth, giving you access to our global network of engineering experts to enhance your industry knowledge and career development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a corporate engineering environment focused on electrical engineering.
  • A strong commitment to mentorship and developing future engineers.
  • Technical proficiency within the Architectural Engineering sector.
  • Proficiency in Revit and 3D CADD is required.
  • A proactive attitude toward learning and problem solving while fostering teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with medium and high voltage designs.
  • Familiarity with SCADA design.
  • Knowledge of mission-critical concepts in healthcare, data centers, or transportation.
  • A willingness to travel as a subject matter expert to support projects and sales endeavors.
