Position Overview
Agami is an Engineering and Project Management Company. We are currently working on multiple projects executing Airport and MRO Hangar and infrastructure developments. We are currently seeking two positions.
- Electrical Engineer – MEP and Design with experience in hands-on expertise in AutoCAD, BIM, and Navisworks to handle the design, coordination, and execution of electrical systems in Airport Infrastructure Projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in MEP systems, site experience, and the ability to coordinate and design expertise in AutoCAD, BIM, and Navisworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review electrical systems for MEP projects including power distribution, lighting, ELV, and earthing systems.
- Prepare electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, and cable sizing.
- Develop and review shop drawings, layouts, and as-built drawings.
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings including, Power distribution layouts, Cable routing and tray layouts, Earthing and lightning protection drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Panel board layouts and schematics.
- Develop and modify 2D and 3D models using AutoCAD and BIM platforms.
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and civil teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Supervise on-site electrical installations and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC) and international standards.
- Review material submittals, technical datasheets, and method statements.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
- Attend client meetings, technical discussions, and coordination meetings.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of, Power Distribution Systems (LV/MV), Lighting Design and Controls, ELV Systems (Fire Alarm, CCTV, Data, Access Control), Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems.
- Proficiency in, AutoCAD (mandatory), Revit MEP (preferred) and MS Office tools.
- Ability to interpret, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Electrical Schematics and Layout Drawings
- Familiarity with international standards such as IEC, BS, and local authority regulations (DEWA/SEWA/ADDC).
- Technical Sales Engineer with strong expertise in Electrical / Mechanical and Control Systems. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth through technical consultation, solution development, and strong client engagement. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, strong technical understanding, and the ability to convert technical solutions into commercial opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in electrical control systems.
- Promote and sell electrical control panels, automation systems, PLC-based solutions, and HVAC products.
- Understand client technical requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with engineering and drafting teams for solution development and drawings.
- Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and presentations.
- Review tender documents, prepare bid submissions, and handle negotiations.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
- Maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and end users.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to company growth.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Control Panels (LT/HT panels), PLC systems and automation, MCC, PCC, VFD systems,
- Control wiring and schematic understanding
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and single line diagrams (SLD).
- Experience in AutoCAD (preferred).
- Good understanding of electrical standards and industry practices.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.

Preferred Profile
- Experience in Airport Equipment and MRO Hangar, or other infrastructure projects.
- UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of authority approval processes (DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.).
- Membership in a professional engineering body is an advantage.
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
