Job Description
Company Overview
- We are part of a European multinational engineering group that provides turnkey energy solutions, services and technology, with a strong focus on natural gas and power projects.
- In Hong Kong, our office focuses on delivering turnkey EPCC solutions for major powerplant and E&M projects, including the design, installation, testing and commissioning of gas and electrical systems at large power stations.
- We work closely with local utilities and industrial clients, providing on?site project execution, systems integration and long?term technical support for critical energy infrastructure.
Role Summary
- You will be a key member of the Project Execution team, taking part in the full project cycle from tendering and detailed design to construction, testing, commissioning and handover at a Lamma Island powerplant site.
- The position offers strong exposure to high?voltage and E&M installations, cross?functional coordination and a clear pathway to grow into senior project or engineering roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers and Engineers in handling E&M projects, including tendering, design work, schedule planning and site inspections.
- Coordinate with clients and contractors in carrying out site measurements, preparing quotations and following up on all site work activities.
- Liaise with relevant parties to plan work schedules and method statements for installation and associated works.
- Conduct regular site checks to ensure work quality, safety standards and good housekeeping practices are maintained.
- Implement and monitor Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) systems on site.
Ideal Candidates
- Degree or Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.
- Registered Grade B Electrical Worker.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the electrical field, with solid exposure to project execution and construction site environments.
- Experience in instruments, heavy industries, manufacturing plants or power plants in Hong Kong is a strong plus.
- Basic understanding of signal propagation, antenna theory, modulation technology and the ability to characterise system performance.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Cantonese.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non?technical stakeholders and to document processes clearly.
- Willing to work at construction sites and in powerplant environments.
- Holder of a valid driving licence (Class 1 or 2) is an advantage.
