Role Description

We are seeking an

Electrical Engineer / Approved Electrician

with experience in

Solar PV and energy storage systems

to support our growing portfolio of renewable energy projects across the

South East and London area, United Kingdom

. This is a

contract-based role

focused on the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Solar PV systems and storage heating solutions.

The role involves installing, testing, and commissioning Solar PV systems in residential and commercial environments, along with electrical installation and maintenance of storage heating systems. You will also carry out mains electrical works including distribution boards, wiring, and final fix installations, ensuring full compliance with

BS7671 Wiring Regulations

and relevant UK electrical standards.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) certification

• Proven experience in Solar PV installations (essential)

• Experience with electrical heating systems / storage heaters (preferred)

• ECS/CSCS card (essential)

• NICEIC registration or ability to work to NICEIC standards

• Strong understanding of DC and AC systems in renewable installations

• Full UK driving licence

• Ability to work on a self-employed / contract basis
