About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer to support the design, execution, and delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality engineering deliverables, compliance with standards, and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical engineering deliverables including datasheets, drawings, and technical documentation
- Ensure projects comply with specifications, budget, codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Interpret and implement technical specifications into project deliverables
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL studies, technical reviews, and stakeholder discussions
- Prepare RFQs, evaluate vendor bids, and recommend suppliers for electrical equipment and systems
- Manage change orders, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project expectations
- Participate in inspection and factory/field acceptance testing (FAT) for MCCs, VFD panels, motors, etc.
- Collaborate with process, mechanical, instrumentation & control, and piping teams
- Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning phases
- Support tendering activities, including cost estimation and proposal preparation
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical design
- Experience in water/wastewater treatment projects is highly preferred
- Electrical motors, starters, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Electrical equipment installation and commissioning
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and safety practices
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
- Proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous learning
- Willingness to travel overseas at short notice
