Electrical Engineering — AI Data Trainer
We partner with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, more technically capable AI models — and we need electrical engineers to make it happen. As an AI Data Trainer, you'll use your deep domain expertise to challenge, evaluate, and refine how advanced language models reason through complex engineering problems. This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of electrical engineering and cutting‑edge AI — on your own schedule, from anywhere in the world.
About The Role
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Design Challenging Problems — Craft advanced electrical engineering problems across domains including circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, electromagnetics, embedded systems, and control theory to stress-test AI performance
- Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions and benchmark responses that serve as the ground truth for AI training
- Audit Technical Accuracy — Review and evaluate AI-generated circuit diagrams, mathematical proofs, and engineering code for correctness, safety, and alignment with standards such as IEEE and NEC
- Improve AI Reasoning — Identify logical gaps and flawed reasoning in AI outputs and provide structured, actionable feedback to strengthen model performance on engineering tasks
Who You Are
- Pursuing or holding a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Strong foundational expertise in one or more core areas: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, or signal processing
- Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and precisely in writing
- High attention to detail when reviewing equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation
- Self‑directed and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment
- No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, technical evaluation, or quality assurance workflows
- Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, SPICE, Simulink)
- Background in engineering standards documentation or academic writing
