Job Description

The Electrical Engineering Manager will lead and manage a team of engineers to deliver innovative, high-quality, and compliant electrical solutions. This leadership role involves ensuring seamless collaboration across teams, maintaining engineering standards, driving innovation, and delivering projects on time and within budget while adhering to industry standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers in delivering high-quality electrical solutions.
• Ensure collaboration and communication across different teams.
• Maintain and uphold engineering standards and regulatory compliance.
• Drive innovation and oversee project delivery within set timelines and budget.
• Manage and oversee projects related to pump stations and water treatment systems.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in electrical or controls engineering, including at least 2+ years in a managerial role.
• High proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
• Deep understanding of electrical principles, power distribution, controls, and regulatory standards (e.g., NEC, UL508a).
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• MS or PhD in a related Engineering degree is preferred.
• Experience with pump stations and/or water treatment systems is preferred.
• Experience with OEM or system integrators is desirable.

Work Environment

This is an onsite role within an office environment with engineering and manufacturing located in the same facility. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with a flexible start time ranging from 5:30 AM to 9:00 AM. There is no travel required for this position.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $160000.00/yr.

Ideal salary range is $115-135K with potential to go higher up to 160K for an exceptional candidate.

Quarterly bonus for this level of position is between 10-15%

This position will be working across all of MCI's business lines as a technology focused leader.
