Salary: $140,000 – $165,000

We are seeking an experienced electrical engineering leader to take ownership of our UL 67 panelboard platform, driving design, certification, and manufacturing readiness from concept through production.

This role is responsible for setting engineering direction, ensuring compliance, and building scalable product and process standards that support reliable manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and development of panelboard systems (electrical schematics, bus design, enclosures)
• Establish engineering standards, documentation, and modular product structures
• Ensure compliance with UL 67, NEC, and related industry standards
• Own and manage UL certification processes and testing coordination
• Translate engineering designs into manufacturable solutions
• Partner with manufacturing teams to improve production efficiency and product quality
• Support product launches, pilot builds, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering within power distribution, panelboards, or switchgear
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
• Experience working in or closely with manufacturing environments
• CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Autodesk, or equivalent)
• Experience with UL or NRTL certification processes preferred
• Ability to lead technical direction and cross-functional collaboration

Good Faith Salary Range: The annual starting salary range for this position is between $140,000 to $165,000 per year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
