What You’ll Do

As part of our collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical engineering solutions. Your responsibilities will include

  • Managing the schedule and technical quality of assigned engineering tasks.
  • Building familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Identifying and communicating scope and design changes promptly.
  • Supporting startup activities and coordinating work with other team members and discipline leads.
  • Producing detailed deliverables such as Installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts, grounding, lighting, and power plans.

  • Electrical design experience in building electrical systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multi-discipline team.
  • Experience with Revit and MV design strongly desired.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 4 years of engineering experience in building electrical systems  
  • Experience with power system software (preferably ETAP)
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) & IEEE standards
  • Understanding of electrical power system equipment/components, such as switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams 

Ideally, you’ll also have 

  • At least one year of design experience for semiconductors, data centers, or mission critical facilities
  • Medium Voltage (MV) design experience
  • Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  
  • Team leadership and client interaction experience

The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $132,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
