Role Description

We are looking for an Electrical Estimator / Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for reviewing customer requests, building accurate quotes, and working closely with customers and internal teams to win and execute projects. Responsibilities include evaluating material and labor costs, assisting in quote preparations, collaborating with project managers, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. The candidate will maintain strong communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure all estimates align with customer demands and expectations.

This is a technical role that isideal for someone who understands electrical systems and enjoys working directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review RFQs, drawings, and specifications for control panel projects
  • Build detailed and accurate quotes for customers
  • Communicate with customers to clarify scope, timelines, and requirements
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility
  • Follow up on quotes and help convert opportunities into orders
  • Maintain and manage opportunities in CRM
  • Support outside sales and key accounts as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience in electrical estimating, inside sales, or project coordination
  • Background in control panels, motor control, PLCs, or industrial electrical systems preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple quotes/projects
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with control panels preferred
  • Familiarity with VFDs, MCCs, or custom automation panels preferred
