Electrical Project Engineer Compensation & Benefits:
Total compensation for the Electrical Project Engineer in Atlanta, GA is between $87,000- $130,000.

Electrical Project Engineer Responsibilities
- Assist with review, routing, and tracking of submittals throughout the project lifecycle
- Support RFI creation, updates, and distribution to ensure timely responses
- Maintain daily work ticket documentation and verify accuracy of reported progress
- Log and organize RFIs and change order documentation in project systems
- Track, monitor, and follow up on pending change orders
- Update as-built drawings as field modifications occur
- Capture and document project site conditions, challenges, and resolutions
- Keep project files, logs, and records highly organized and easy to reference
- Submit coding for labor hours and cost allocation as required
- Coordinate permits, access credentials, and required approvals ahead of schedule
- Assist in preparing and pricing change order requests
- Maintain the project document library for quick retrieval of current information
- Participate in internal project reviews and progress discussions (KPR meetings)
Electrical Project Engineer Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related discipline)
- 2-5 Years Experience Required
- ABET-accredited degree Required
Electrical Project Engineer Role Requirements
- Comfort working on a computer for long periods of time
- Ability to remain seated for extended durations
- Manual dexterity for keyboard and digital tools
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to clearly convey information
- Ability to comprehend written instructions, technical documents, and project details
- Solid problem-solving skills with ability to apply general principles to project-specific challenges
- Active listening skills to understand instructions, direction, and feedback
