Electrical QA/QC Engineer [Data Centre Project Experience Preferred]

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Systems Scope

You will be responsible for inspection, testing, and quality control of:

• Low Voltage (LV) systems

• Main LV panels, SMDBs, and DBs

• Transformers and power transformation systems

• Diesel generators and backup power systems

• Generator synchronization systems

• UPS systems, units, and battery banks

• Busbar and busduct systems (installation, inspection & testing)

• Earthing and bonding systems

Testing & Commissioning

Hands-on experience in:

• Insulation Resistance (IR) testing

• Continuity testing (R1 + R2)

• Cable testing and termination verification

• UPS testing and battery discharge testing

• Autonomy duration testing

• Functional performance testing

• Pre-energization and commissioning verification

QA/QC & Documentation

• Review and verify ITPs, Method Statements, and test procedures

• Conduct inspections as per approved documentation

• Prepare and redline:

• Inspection reports

• Test reports

• As-built drawings/documents

• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders

• Experience with Aconex is an advantage

Requirements

Technical & Project Experience

• Experience with data centre projects (highly preferred)

• Familiarity with:

• IEC standards

• BS standards

• Project specifications

• Understanding of Tier II / III / IV data centre concepts

• Knowledge of:

• Redundancy and reliability principles

• Critical power infrastructure

Profile

• Mid-level to Senior Electrical QA/QC Engineer or Inspector

• Ability to independently manage inspections and documentation

• Experience working in fast-track, high-criticality environments

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• electrical testing: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• UAE Driving License (Required)

• UAE MOFA attested 4-year degree (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 100% (Preferred)
