Energy Finance Analyst - CCS
The Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA) is seeking an experienced professional to participate in IEEFA's research on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) as an Energy Finance Analyst - CCS.
The Analyst will conduct and disseminate analysis relating to the performance, economics, development, and risks of global and Australian CCS projects. They would have experience identifying, extrapolating, and analyzing complex data to draw credible conclusions and developing evidence-based and narrative-led reports. Strong communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders. The role requires a self-motivated individual who strives for excellence and brings a collaborative and flexible approach to their work.
IEEFA is an NGO/not-for-profit that conducts research and analysis on financial and economic issues related to energy markets, trends, and policies. Headquartered in the United States, IEEFA has a team of 70+ analysts and communications personnel located in 15 countries across the globe. Compensation and Benefits
Full-time employment contract with remuneration A$125,000 - A$145,000 base, plus super. Work Schedule
Full-time, 38 hours/week, with occasional evening or weekend work as required.
Location and Travel
Energy Finance Analyst - CCS will work remotely and may be based anywhere in Australia. Some travel is required. Attendance is required at occasional global IEEFA conference and team retreat. Quarterly in person team meetings alternate between Sydney and Melbourne.
Physical Demand and Work Environment
Must be able to work for prolonged periods at a computer. Computer work can involve repetitive motion, eyestrain, back and neck strain.
